The Los Angeles Press commissioned their first piece ever from me--a review of the Broadway show — "for colored girls who have considered suicide / when the rainbow is enuf" by Ntozake Shange, which played at the Booth Theatre this summer.
I'm so grateful and honored to be Featured in this issue, Volume 6 / The Dance. Additionally, it was such a special joy to participate in the Los Angeles Press reading on July 31, 2022 at ArtShare L.A. as part of LitLit (Little Literary Fair) presented by The Los Angeles Review of Books and Hauser & Wirth Publishers. Special thanks to Los Angeles Press Founder Linda Ravenswood for her interest and encouragement!
